I HAVE A 1997 ,251 WA.  FUEL TANK IS 170 GAL. LABEL IS LOCATED NEXT THE SENDER UNIT,WHICH I JUST REPLACED ALONG WITH A NEW FUEL GAUGE.
IF INTERESTED I ALSO HAVE THE ORGINAL MANUAL AND FACTORY CHECK OFF LIST FROM PRO-LINE.
FYI,IF YOU EVER NEED TO REPLACE A SENDER,BUY IT FROM  "WEMA" IN FT. LAUDERDALE....I LEARNED A LESSON..
THE GUY OR GUYS WHO EVER WIRED THIS BOAT AT THE FACTORY,LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED.

Here's some info from a posting on "The Hull Truth".

Here's your boat:
LOA 25'5" of fiberglass, doe's not count the 2' bracket. Reach is all of a 27' hull. Never was actually a 23', 24' or a 25' as we have called it.
Beam 8'6"
Hull draft, motor up, 14" +/-
Fuel 138
Weight, full fuel and power 5500 approx
Cockpit area 53SF
Max HP 250 as an I/O, 300 as an O/B
Freshwater 15 gal
Cabin headroom 4'9"
Fishbox 120 Qt
Livewell 62 Qt.

MerCruiser 5.7 B-2, 38-40 WOT, not gauranteed, but pretty much right on.
Time on plane 4.3 sec +/-
At 4000 RPM'S should cruise at about 27MPH, have something like a 3 MPG range. Estimated numbers from 1998, +/- numbers, Ok?

Deadrise at the transom was 19 degree, which was pretty standard at the time, most brands in the size range.

1993 Proline 210 WA w/cuddy
69 gal tank
single Yammy 200 carbed, auto lube
bought thiss last summer for $7500 w/ tandem trailer and most electronics
Family loves this boat for all around water fun
Rides great in 1-3 ft chop on Chesapeake Bay will handle more, but about 4 more ft would ride better
6 pass capacity while pulling tube at same time
Great fishing platform, have new bimini great for sun shad in summer, re zippered full enclosure for fishing into December this year w/ no problems, smallish bait well and raw water washdown and gunnel rod holders
want to add second battery and clean up wiring and add a back-trolling spray protector (any suggestions pics?)
Plan good refresh bottom paint since it stays in water most of the time
Cruises around 25 at 3500 probably 4-6gph including trolling
Great boat!

?what is a backtrolling spray protector?
just curious, dont think ive ever seen one.
maybe I will google it. sometimes we just have to custom build stuff for ourselves. never saw anything by that name at least. Banging Head

OK
I think i found them under a similar name.
plexiglass panels attached at stern/transom area to keep spray down when running backwards, ? is this a common fishing technique in saltwater ?
looks like they wouldnt be to hard to make out of plexiglass if you didnt try to get too fancy.

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for some help identifying my boat and getting some of the specs for it.  I just bought it a couple weeks ago.  The seller told me it was a 21 but measuring front to back I come up with pretty close to 20 feet.  There a data plate near the helm but it's hard to read.  I think it calls the model to be PRO 2000.  The boat has the original Yamaha 130 and it sits on a Continental trailer.  I believe the boat and motor are 1991.  The seller told me it had a 40 gallon tank and I'd like confirmation on that.  TIA if you have any info.
