So I posted a question or two on another website (HT) and with my thoughtful replies came an invitation to visit and register at Prolineowners.com....
What a neat Proline specific website you have here- well done!

My wife and I recently purchased a 1998 241 WA with a 350 Chevy engine powering a Mercruiser I/O with a Bravo II outdrive with about 800 freshwater use only hours.
We will use boat this primarily as a salmon trolling boat in Lake Michigan (Wisconsin side) with some dive trips and overnighting from time to time.

This is our first I/O boat and so far so good- except for the much different turning radius and handling characteristics. I'm not confident or comfortable yet coming into or leaving slips or other tight quarters at this point.

Additions and upgrades so far since the posted picture was taken:
Added Big Jon Protournament electric down riggers x 2.
Added Traxstech track systems for downriggers, additional rod holders and additional cleats.
Added Lowrance 525 DF GPS graph flushmounted into glovebox..
Wish list and upgrades planned:
Apppropriate anchor and rode needed. (Current anchor too small for overnight or emergency anchoring. Any and all suggestions welcome)
Aftermarket trim tabs wanted.
sprayer and hose for deck washdown needed.
Table leg for cabin table needed.

We look forward to making friends on this website and talking with other Pro-Line owners and we welcome any or all comments on this particular boat or anything else that will enhance our Pro-Line ownership experience.
Regards,

 Tim and Stacie

I have a "231",same engine (older carb version), Same drive. no tabs.

Table leg, check under the stbd side bunk locker, there may be a set of clips for storing table leg, if its not there , most of them are just aluminum tube.
get a large anchor and 200-300' of rode, mount it in the roller, good for overnight and emergencies, then get a smaller lighter anchor and mount it on bowrail or stanchion with 50-100ft rode for lunchhooking, fishing.
I use a "danforth"type second anchor with a  long oval shank that fits horizontally on the pulpit rail with a couple zipties. quick convenient and easy to haul.
main is a large ,maybe 17# danforth type in the roller on pulpit.
I have no windlass .

I have a hose -threaded feed to livewell that We can hook 25' white hose or a coil hose to ,for rawwater washdown, driven by an 800gph pump.
more of a rinsedown for fish blood and slime than a washdown but it cost almost zilch.

do you have a baitpump or though hull pickup?

also register with seabobs "The proline guy", send both sites  donation and share with the rest of us , new and old, it could save you lots of time and money and hassle.

hope this helps a bit.
welcome

231 Californ,

Thanks to you and the others that have chimed in and replied so far- it's nice to be here.

To answer your question, I don't know what type of water pick up or holding tank(s) we have if any. Did the 241WA come with such things in 1998 as factory issue? There is a white retractable sprayer (similar to a kitchen sink hand held sprayer) that looks like a factory issue on the port side with a black hoes fitting nearby. Also there is a combination live well and sink on the stern with a clear plastic divider and a small sink in the cuddy cabin. We get no water when we turn on any of these sinks or the afore mentioned sprayer.
Any and all help will be appreciated

Hi Tim and Stacy, I am also a new proline owner and have already found some great people and info on this site. I have already met Mike Carrigan who works at the proline factory on this site, he was a huge help with some things I had questions about and I am sure there are a lot of others that will have answers for us. Once I get some time on my boat I hope to contribute as much as I take from here. Anyway, welcome to the site and enjoy your new ride.

Hi Justjon,

Thanks for your reply. I obviously have not returned to this thread for a while but if you could get me a pic or two that would be great!

I am confident I have located a table leg from toddusa.com Cushionguy was unable to obtain the pattern to cut a new table for me. Any help you can provide would really me out.
Thanks Jon!

Jon,
Yes, some pictures would be great, thank you in advance!

Gary ("Cushion Guy") said that he doesn't have a filler board or even the original material to make a filler for me so my search goes on...
Thanks,

Tim

Here is a better picture of the cabin without the final board and cushion.

Does the missing board have a leg underneath to support the board when in place?
