I had the 2008 23 sport and was very happy, now I have the 2003 23 sport, which from what I read, then became the 24 Super Sport.  My question is that when I begin to trim the motor up, the boat really begins to bounce (in any type of chop.  I actually have to use the trip tabs to push the bow down if she is trimmed at all out the the water.  My old 23 would not do this.  I only used my tabs to even out the ride or put the bow down in rough seas.  Does anyone with this model have the same problem or experienced something similar with theirs?

She's porpoising.  Sometimes a "hook" can develop at the trailing edge of the transom, which will cause this condition.  Put a straight edge on the hull bottom and see if there is a gap from the hull a couple feet forward to the trailing edge.  Comes from basically 2 things...a hull pulled "green", where the curing process wasn't complete, or from improper support from the trailer bunks...

I have run 2 different props on my 24SS. I don't have any propoising issues. I can trim up until the props cavitate but the ride doesn't change.......

My 251 would porpoise terribly. The original motor was a 7.4, running a F7 prop set. I would have to trim tab down and drive in to compensate. Later, that engine was swapped out for a 5.7 (lighter weight) and a F5 prop set.......no more porpoising! The boat was a few knots slower but I really think the props were the issue.

Could be that a different prop could cure your ills.

I have the same boat with twin f150 yams,  I always use the trim tabs to keep the bow down.  It needs to be pushed down for a better ride,  I love my boat.  Just like a car, you have to get use to it.  When I had the t150 opti's, it rode the same as now.  wouldn't trade it for anything.
