I have a 2005 17 sport, and the windshield has these hairlines groups of scratches/cracks that I think are referred to as "crazing"? I was wondering if there is any way to repair or buff these out, or if replacement is my only option. Thanks

I dont know the 17 sport, is w/s  a plastic orclear  plexi or hard glass?
there are some things that will make some plastics better but not fix them  entirely.
what is your windscreen made of?
haze can be buffed off of clear plastic with the stuff that unclouds car headlight lens covers when the milk over. tinted im not sure.
hard glass dont think so.

It is plastic, not sure what kind or if that matters. I'll find out anyway and post. It is not hazing, the plastic is still clear, it just has hundreds of these tiny scriggly scratches. Mostly on the sides, a small amount around the mounting screws around the front.
