I am a new member. I have purchased a 2000 24 ft walk with a Honda 225 with 43 hrs.  I have a few questions for the community

Does anyone know if the boat has fuses. I my accessory jack is not working and before i replace i want to double check for fuses

The boat has a dashboard switch for forward bilge pump. It was not working so i opened and drained out all the water from the forward bilge.  The pump is very difficult to see as it is over to the side of the opening. Should i assume it gets wired directly into the wiring harness?

The rear bilge works when i put the switch on the dash board but it does not go on automatically if the bilge fills with water.  Would that be the wiring?

my accessory jacks are aftermarket and have fuses in the positive lead.
most factory stuff on dash has  "circuit breakers" on dash next to switches. unscrew the panel below the helm and look at the back of the acces socket and follow the wire to positive power, you should find at least a fuse.
forward bilge pump should be wired straight to switch on helm that is labeled such, mine isnt automatic, , and yes its a bit hard to get to but a short screwdriver should do it . aft main bilge has a float switch , it should run either on manual on or auto when float is raised. some have swithc built into pump.
check all wiring and look for debris as well. shouldnt be hard to figure if all is connected. poke around a bit and you will find cause.
why was there water forward? wash water, rain water, stored bow down???

Deep, I've got an '00 23 Walk so I assume our boats are similar.  As 231 suggested, pretty much all the electrical stuff is protected by breakers at the helm under the switches, at least when it came from the Factory.

Both my bilge pumps were in need of attention when we acquired the boat back in Dec.  Both were set up from the factory to engage automatically when there was water in the compartment or when you flip their switch on.  My front pump wasn't working at all, a self contained unit (i.e. it had a float switch as part of the pump).  Pump was bad, replaced in kind and it works well.  My rear one (larger pump w/ remote float switch) only worked when the dash switch was engaged.  The wiring to the remote float switch was corroded thru.  Replaced it and cut back on the existing wire harness to ensure I removed all the corroded wire, installed w/ heat shrink connectors, etc.

BTW, I trailer mine and have noticed that a bit of water will collect in the front bilge from time to time.  If I crank up the tongue jack when parked, it all makes its way aft and empties out the drain.

Hope you enjoy the boat.
