I just bought a 2003, 23 sport, "replaced my 08, 23 sport that was lost in an accident".  I have a ski bridal that goes around the outboard. The problem is that when we ski, the rope gets stuck in the wake and won't allow you to get outside the wake. My friend has an edgewater that has a ski hook on his t-top.  I have the factory t-top and my question is, can you tie the ski rope to the top and pull a skier without damage?  It sure looks strong enough.  By the way, I am the largest at 175lbs.  Thanks...

I have heard of people doing it without an issue but I would not try that with my T top. Can you mount something higher up on the transom which will fit the problem? Have you tried without the bridal/

I pulled from the top this weekend and it gave a great ride.  I did try directly from the eyelet but they are so low, the rope still gets caught in the wake.  As for a ski pole, I have not found anything that would not require serious installation into the boat.  I was more curious if anyone has heard of this hurting the boat.  Thanks.
