looks like this boat will be coming on the mkt soon and would like your opinions on a price (am on the 'buy') side. It is in grade 'B' condition. All wiring needs redone. Has a 125 merc that is not working now. Is on a trailer but even it will need some new wheels, boards etc b4 any serious travel. It is in the Crystal River FL area where they were (are?) made...so I expect the boat is well known here but just how does one find a reputable appraiser. I really want this boat even tho it needs work...I have a very low budget and am hoping to find a good fit here. Also no electronics on boat like radio, fish finder or GPS. So, what kind of price do you think would be reasonable?
Thanks,
Gary

We are still built in Crystal River.
Your question is a tough one to answer without knowing more.
In Florida any major brand of fiberglass, outboard, fishing boat has a very good resale. I wish that was exclusive to us, but it pretty much holds true with all respected major brands names.
Price is a  very relative issue. It's in the eye of the beholder and condition, boat and motor, is a very important issue.
Call the plant, (800) 344-1281, (352) 795-4111, ask for Lanie. I had need for a real good Merc tech and Lanie sent me to a very good one who's local, but I forget his name. Pay him to give you an opinion on the condition overall, boat and motor. The shop that was reccomended I found to be outstanding and extremly good with Mercs. Good, honest shop.

Just had a second thought.
SEABOB who is a frequent participant on the site also can look the rig over and give you a good opinion as to condition. I dont know as Bob will offer a price suggestion, but he sure can give you a very credable opinion as to the boat and motor. Hire him to look it over for you. It'll be money well spent, I think.

I purchased a 91 210 Walk Around last Fall in the same condition. Boat was dirty, needed all new nav lights, gauges on helm were shot. No electronics.
Seller was asking $5500... offered him $3300 and he accepted.
Included 115, 1989 Yamaha that was running and dual axle trailer which was in rough shape but got the boat to me and to the launch ramp this spring. The boat was in the water and running when I bought her.
Cleaned up nicely, Very solid hull and she ran great when we put it in, but having starting issues now.
At the price I paid, I didn't mind putting some $$ and TLC into it. I also work at a marine supply company and get a great employee discount, so the parts and supplies don't hurt... too bad Wink
