hey guys, It's been a while but here's what I have learned. Insurance won't pay for a fuel tank unless it's had obvious external damage or it needs to be removed to repair fiberglass damage. They will pay an insane amount for fiberglass damage though

(enough to repair fiberglass, new bottom paint and new tanks).

So I have decided to remove the old tank in two pieces, like an 80 gal and a 30 gal piece (approx.). I can do this without cutting the deck. If either is salvageable then i shall employ my brother-in-law/master welder to make the necessary repairs. I'll go back with two tanks (80 gal main and 30 gal reserve) thus no cut deck and no problems for the future should another leak develop. This is my plan. I'll do some final pressure testing before cutting, but short of a miracle the saw is coming out. Let me know if my logic is flawed. thanks for all the advise. P.S. My picture maker broke but I'll post some pics as soon as my wife tells me what kind of camera I like
