I need a schematics diagram for my 2005 24 SS. Anyone have any idea where I can get one?

The problem I'm having is that the original dealer just replaced one of my rocker switches, and now the VHF doesn't power up, which was one of the  3 things on that switch (chart plotter and depth finder were the others)...it's weird because it appears to have voltage using a meter, but won't power up, tried another radio as well and no luck...both work fine hooked straight to 12 V...what I wanted to do is replace the wiring, but didn't know if where they actually are supposed to go, as I was confused by a list of items directly behind the access panel in my bathroom that is NOT near the switches, but seemed to have the same items listed there. Would love to not have to do anything to the switch itself, cause I have no clue as to how to get to the back of the panel...anyone have any ideas?

Are the chart plotter and sonar still on that same switch/circuit?? If so, do they power up??

How are you measuring voltage at the radio?? With a light bulb circuit tester or a Multi-meter?

If it was working before the switch was replaced, I would look for a bad splice, shorted or frayed wire? Does the radio work if the switch is taken out of the circuit and you jump the lead into and the wire out of the switch together??? This would indicate the internal resistance of the switch is causing a voltage drop that is causing your problem.

Can you remove the panel's screws and pull the panel forward to gain access? As  I remember, the toggle part of the switch can be removed by gently prying/opening up the the pivot point. Then, the body of the switch is held in place by a couple of ears on either side. Depress those and the switch can be removed from the panel.

Or,.....have the dealer come fix the problem his work created? Thumbs Up

Thanks for the quick reply...I'll try your suggestions. Was hoping it'd be less effort just to fix what they did than to running it back into them...Thanks again.

In my haste, realized I didn't answer your question.

The chart plotter and depth finder both power up fine, seems to be just the VHF. I'll see if I can get into the switch tommorrow.

Check the inline fuse holder in the 12V+ lead to your VHF...
