26 Walk,
Yet, I are one, as of about a week ago!  Grin  I have run the boat about a half dozen times.  It is an entirely different ride than the 26' Mako I owned up until a year ago.  The main thing I noticed is that this hull does not like to have the motors trimmed up at all without cavitating.  I am looking at motor height to see if lowering will help with this.  If you get a chance let me know what you like and don't like about yours.

Yes there are.  Grin I am new owner of '93 26 WAC, single 250. The hull looks great. Topside needs a little TLC. Boat is at the mechanic's shop for a once over and tune. Drain fuel tank, tune up, ... Then I'll bottom pain and trailer rebuild.
Just picked up a place on a deep water canal with quick access to the Gulf of Mexico (Tampa bay region)
I was looking for a forum to discuss this boat.
Last project boat I had was a 20' Shamrock. Great boat after lots of $ and time.
I wanted a decent fishing platform that would be more comfortable in rough conditions. Maybe this is a good compromise.
Like to hear more and I'll be around with questions and/or answers.

I just purchased a 91 26 walkaround yesterday twin 200 oceanrunners topped out at 41 knots very impressed handeled well but you need to have the motors all the way down and then it jumps on plane once on plane she trimmed up nicely and never cavitated I would check your depthing on the motors. I know this is an old message....

Capt Rik,

Can you look and see if you have a yellow wire that runs from the battery compartment up to the helm and identify what this wire is please?  I'm going nuts as I tracked and labeled both sides of the wires over the last 2 weeks and I can't find out what this wire goes too/operates.

Thanks in advance,
