Hi all, new to this forum, but not to boating or forums.  Anyhow, we have a 1994 231 W/A (love the boat) and we are missing the hardware the hold down the helm pod on the top forward edge.  Imagine my surprise when the whole mess came unhinged in my hands in rough seas last winter  Huh?

There are a couple bolts running up through the cabin headliner, but they are flush with the helm pod.  Looks like maybe a t-nut type fatener should have been there?

Thanks for the help, and I'll try to be a contributing member.

That is exactly what I was looking for.  If that's the case, mine have been cut flush, cause they don't extend enough to get a nut on them.  Interesting?

Mine only extended a tiny bit, maybe yours have been pushed in during a re install?
put a nut on them and pull a bit?

Just had to pull mine briefly to gain access to some of the windshield screws on my '00 23Walk. Mine had the acorn style SS nuts on top of each standard lock nuts w/ flat and lock washers under them on both sides.  When I removed all of them and the 4 screws at the bottom and pulled up on on the helm pod, the two screws on top were held in place on by two additional nuts and washers under the pod that were covered in some silicone sealant to keep the cabin dry.  I had to put a large screwdriver on the screw heads in the cabin to remove the acorn and lock nuts.

I can post a pic or two if that might provide any assistance.
