Hello Bob,

Sorry, I could not get the deal done on the 32 Proline ( I wonder if vitalis friend got it? >: LOL, however I did end up picking up a 2004 Proline 25 Walk for this summer. I have to set up my bunk trailer for this boat. I was wondering if you would have the bow eye to transom measurement and the recommended width to set the bunks to.

Thanks Very Much,
Paul

Paul,
Well, I don't have this at home with me, but I can help none the less.  For the bunk placement, stick your head in the bilge and locate the outboard stringers.  Measure the distance over to the keel.  That is where your bunks need to be, directly under the outboard stringers.

Now, since we haven't built a 251 for a few years now, if I remeber correctly, the bow eye should be about 3' aft of the leading edge of the pulpit.  That would put you at about 22' to the transom.  I know you are trying to get your winch stand set up to where the prow snugs up against the bow roller, yet the transom is supported by the bunks completely.

Check with Magi-Tilt, LoadMaster, we have bought from them for years.  They might have the exact dim.'s you are looking for... Cheesy

Thanks Bob,

I assume by the out board stringers you mean the 2 main large stringers, correct? The reason I was asking is the boat is being delivered to me and I was hoping to have the trailer set properly when I get there. Also, this is not the 251 but the 25 walk which are 2 different boats. The 251 was made from about 1995 to 2000 (it was called a 25 walk in 2000 but was the same boat as a 251) then in 2001 the old 231 was changed in name to the 25 walk and was built until about 2006 or 2007. At least this seems to be what I have observed.

Thanks again,
Paul

The 25 Walk was basically a 25 Sport with a cabin.  Bracket mounted motor(s).  Dimensions should be able to be obtained following the methods I gave you.

The deck was much different on the 251.
