I have a 2003 23 sport CC with twin Yam f150"s.  We fish only with it offshore out of Destin.  We have 35 minute no wake zone back to the condo.  We use this time to wash down the boat.  As the wash down hose in the rear won't reach up front, I spliced into the line and have a hose coming off after the pump so that We can do  the washing.  I also keep a couple of gallons of extra water in the hole with the freshwater tank.  Nice to have the boat washed down by the time you get to the dock.  Just trying to pass along things that make my life easier.

on many 23 walkarounds the cabin sink hose is long enough for widshield, helm and foredeck rinse desalt and a bit of midship fresh rinse  with the 6-7 gallons?
galley water to suplement raw water washdown . helps with sprayed fish blood and slime as well as salt spray,
But you need garden hose freshwater at end of day to really washdown and desalt.
all you guys with pull out galley faucet check out hose length, you may be surprised. I use mine for hairwash/cold shower on multi day aboard stays as well.
Guys with bigger baots even have hot water Thumbs Up

I had that sink in the back which I took out the faucet and added a garden hose attachment. If I'm correct this gives me 25 gallons of fresh water but that going by what the prior owner told me.

I am still a new boat owner so this might be a dumb question. Why do you use fresh water to wash down the boat? I personally use the washdown station outlet to wash the entire boat down in the idle zones, I bought a hose with a garden sprayer.

I use they raw water wash down to get the fish blood and bait junk off the deck.  When we are in the no wake zone, I hate to not accomplish something!  I have saltaway in spray bottles to wash the poles down.  We then start at the bow washing the boat to get the salt off.  Once we dock, our time is cut way down with a little washing still to do and a good rinse.  When you run offshore, you have lots of salt spary on the boat, I get it off ASAP.  Florida does not allow you to clean the fish while on the boat.  If they did, they would be cleaned and ready for vaccum packaging.
