I had it done when I added my hardtop.... Tracks screwed to the underside of the top. The curtains were made from heavy stamoid and the "better" clear glass. The bottoms snap to the snaps around the windshield frame that were there from the bimini and sides purchased originally. The back is 3 panels which zipper together and can be rolled up individually when fishing.

It is about 3 years old and is holding up well. I can't help you with a local source. Let me know if you want some pictures.

Jay,
Not to give us some business, but have you contacted the factory?  One of the options on your boat is a full enclosure, although I'm sure you can just get side curtains and a windshield connector.

But I have no idea what the cost is...

Mary Valle, our upholstery/canvas supervisor, makes some beautiful enclosures.  Hey, I work for Proline, we have to get some money somehow! Shocked

If you can get it done locally for less, go for it.  You're probably right, you don't need the drop curtains aft.

Here are some pictures. Keep in mind that i rarely take down the curtains because of the conditions here. I will remove the aft 3 panels in the summer when fishing more frequently.

Warren,
Excellent use of wrap-arounds rather than snap-studs in the Hardtop legs!  Even allows for those cold weather shrinkage installs.  Excellent installation, your canvas guy/girl should be commended! Grin

Jay,
Terry Anderson, great girl.  She, unfortunately, now works for an auto parts company, as she has been laid off since October.  Right now, CS is Jim Kogler, the manager.  If you want, I can talk to him and the higher ups and see if we can get Mary some work.  She's laid off like the rest of us...

I'll be at the plant on Tuesday, hopefully giving the founder of this site, Bob Andrews, a plant tour.  We hope to be back to work the 6th...

cJAY,
I will forward your request to Jim Kogler in CS.  Mary has been brought in on a few occasions in recent months to make biminis, drop curtains, windshield connectors, etc.  We'll see if we can't get it done for you.

cJAY,
Unfortunately, this was the reply I got this morn from Jim:

Quote
I wish J.W. would have brought Mary in to make some canvas. I could have sold many curtain packages and a couple of bimini tops, but J.W. didn't want to do it (or couldn't do it for some reason). Anyway, I have been telling customers that there is no production at this time and the best advise is to check with their local marina or canvas/upholstery shop and have something custom made

Now, if your willing to wait 2-3 weeks, the upholstery shop should be up and running, and then we can go from there.  What do you think?

Bob,
Any word on when the upholstery shop will be back up and running? Now I know why the dealer couldn't sell me an enclosure with my boat.

Thanks

Good news!

Mary is back at work (as am I!), so contact Jim and see if he can get the canvas/upholstery work done for you guys.
