Started with a 26" LCD HDTV , but was to big. Ended with a 24".
Took the front panel off, added a 2X4 and secured with three screws.
Added two A/C outlets and reattached the front panel to the boat and added four more screws(total of eight).
When under way with the boat, added a secure strap on both ends for more security.
Not done yet, will add decorative piece around TV opening. Will post more pics when done.

Added 2X4.

Added three screws to 2X4.

Very cool, Patrick.  Thumbs Up

I have the same front panel and have considered doing the same. Nice job on the outlets. That's been a stumper for me, not being much of an electrician. How did you run the wiring?

Thanks.

Added electrical wire from the galley GFI outlet to the front.
Outlets by Wiremold On-Wall PVC outlet kit(NMW2-D) are from Lowes.
Low profile. Paid $7 each.

Perfect! My GFI outlet is right there on the fore end of the galley. I can visualize the run now. Thanks Patrick

I added some pictures of some of the reinforcement bolts I added to secure the forward panel to the stringers.
The panel does not butt to the stringers tightly, in fact the right side was more than an inch off. I ended up making some spacers for the top two bolts.
Installed the front panel, then removed the ceiling panel so I could add the spacers and washers.

Looking at the back side using a mirror.
