Okay this is premature because I won't have the pics of the completed project until the first week of April.

CUSHIONGUY had the new covers and cushions waiting for me in Naples when I arrived. He sent the curtains and pillows just a few days later but I had to leave town by then.

I installed the new covers and cushions and while I'm going to wait until I have it complete to post pictures, I want to tell you all that it looks great. I'm very pleased with the perfect fit of the new covers, and the quality of the new cushions. Very nicely done.

CUSHIONGUY had some great ideas for material and patterns and pillows and the cabin looks fabulous. When I get down next time, I'll prop the 5 great pillows he made, hang the curtains, have the cabin bolsters covered, and post the pictures.

Thanks CUSHIONGUY!

Is there a penalty for replying to your own thread?

I moved my next trip to Naples up to Mar 12-16. SO you'll get pics of the work then.

When I purchased my 1999 241 back in April my cushions still had the factory plastic on them. After a few trips out my wife made me take the plastic off but they look like new. I did spray them down with some fabric guard that a carpet cleaner guy gave me so that should help.

That's a great idea. Fabric guard makes a lot of sense. I also like the idea of keeping the cushions in plastic unless the cabin is going to be used. Maybe a new clean cheapo tarp.  I mean why not. For the most part it will just be me on board cruising or fishing.

The fabric has a teflon coating already on it.  Not to say a scotch guard type spray would increase the life of the fabric just that it has protection.  Looking forward to the pics.

You know...you'd think I'd be smart enough to ask the guy who's been doing it for Proline for the last 16 years...and who just did mine for the second time! And yet...  Cheesy

Thanks Gary.

And doggone it if I didn't find a few days to get away two weeks sooner! Amazing how that happens. I'll be back down mid-March. And again the first week of April. And again the first week of May, June and July! Now to you locals this doesn't seem like a big deal...but to me....it's awesome.

I'm selling my boat cushions from my 2002 22' Proline Open Fishermen.  The cushions are brand new and have never been used. I'm selling them for $400. There are seven pieces in total, two large cushions for the front, two for the side panels, one for middle seat, and two for the back seats.  Please call Manny if interested at (305) 282-2989.  Thank you.
