I have been shark fishing from the shore near tybee island the last year before I deployed. Never got a chance to ocean fish from a boat but now that I am a proud pro-line owner. I need some advice and tips for fishing in this area. I do not want to go more than 5-10 at most NM from the shore. I know there is some reefs near shore but still unsure. Any other georgia or south carolina fishers here? I welcome any advice, tips, etc.

I have a oceanmaster roller rod with a 1935 pflueger templar ocean reel. I am heading to bass pro today to buy some new spinning rod/reel setups to cast fish with. Off the beach/shore we would kayak the bait out to the deeper water, big sharks, so I dont have the right rod setups for the boat and working on fixing that for as long as the wife lets me.
