I wanted to install a windlass on my 1998 2810.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just left a message on another post. defender.com has some great windlass deals right now. All brand names.

you should look into the lewmar pro-sport series. I have the 550 on my 30 walk.  It came with the boat and the PO had just installed it back in july. Its a little undersized for the boat, but it works great. when it burns out i'll upgrade to the 1000.
