I use the bow storage for my fish boxes.  The ones On the back deck are too much a pain to use.  I would like to make those rear deck ones water tight for storage.  They have a tendency to get wet inside.  I am thinking about some kind of round oval rubber tube like gasket.    Any ideas?   also some ideas of netting to use in the head to store stuff.
Thanks,
Sandflea

Can you post a picture of your set up now?  This may give us some ideas.

Tom,
We use a gasket by Trim-Lok, I'd post you a pic, but for some reason the internet can't find the site, whether I use Google Chrome, Firefox, IE, or Safari.  Maybe in a bit, and I can post a pic.  The Trimlok P/N is X-103 BT.  Excellent stuff with a VERY secure 3M adhesive backing.  Get back in a bit...

Finally got it, here's a pic...

We use the single width.  If you have less than a 3/8" gap between the top of your gutter dams and the underside of the hatch lid, this stuff works great.

Tom,
You might want to try Obeco (http://www.obecoinc.com/id12.html).  We use their nets...
