Adding this thread to the off topic forum as it doesn't apply to most Proline boats.

Hey Robert1,
You still interested in demoing the system on-board the big boat?  I just received the new antenna that should give internet 20-50 miles off shore (in theory).  If this works as expected, you will have on-board internet, email, DVD, BluRay, streaming movies, music, even phone and video conferencing ability.  Should have the completed system ready for testing by middle of next month.

I have heard that in heavily populated areas near big cities that the new digital converter boxes  and standard tv's get an excellent sellection of channels and good reception even when moving, almost like cable or sat,  but in more remote areas only a few channels.
guys in san diego and la are getting rid of their cable and satelite hookups at marinas and not missing it much.

my boat tv is only 3 inch screen so im not concerned. also portable dvds make good boat entertainement centers for us trailerables.

There aren't any users online.
