I have a 96 Proline 210.  The bow cleat is fairly far back from the bow.  There is no chaulk or fairlead for the anchor line.  What have others used to keep the anchor line from chaffing the fiberglass on the bow/gunnel?
Thanks

MY PROline has a Pulpit and roller ,but my other boat doesent , I use a split piece of white hose about 3ft long,  put a bit of anti chafe tape sold by chandleries on the hose and line to hold it in place and prevent roll off, but i dont moor it for more than 2-3days. Protects the rubrail insert, the anchorline and the deck really well, cheap or free, looks ok, easy to install.
I have also used a 2 ft piece of unspit hose but you have to thread it throught he line first and make sure you dont  let it slip  down the line at drop time.
Ive seen everythinbg from small towels taped ont he line to plastic sheets and pieces of wood.
