As suggested above, a hair dryer worked fine to warm up the adhesive on unwanted decals on the sides of my hull.  Easily scraped off and the remaining adhesive came off quickly w/ a little acetone.

A little late, but from Big City Images website:

Decal Removal Instructions
1 - Warm up the old graphic with a hair dryer or heat gun. DO NOT OVERHEAT! Overheating will cause blistering of the paint or the bodywork.

2 - Starting at a corner, slowly peel back the old graphic continually warming the vinyl as you proceed. If the old graphic tears, simply start again until complete removal is achieved.

3 -After the Graphic is removed you can remove any remaining adhesive with mineral spirits, or a citrus based adhesive remover. DO NOT USE LAQUER
