Jay,
It's prety evident that is the best setup for your boat.  And yes, the hardtop is/was a truly innovative design.  Our former designer, Brett Pearman, came up with that concept based on fold-down wakeboard towers.  I worked with him at Wellcraft many moons ago, he is now with Brunswick Offshore Fishing Group.  Bit of a weird guy, but SMART!
