I own a 2001 26walk.  Seems the diaphragm pump went ghost on me.  Anyone know what model/brand pump will replace it?  I found the #'s 5042729, M027RM & date 05-10-00 stamped on it.  It is connected to a box which get the water from the fish box which then enters the pump which sends it overboard.  What is the function of the box?  I am guessing a macerator for chopping the fish scales etc.

Any suggestions/comments will be greatly appreciated.  Smiley

On my 251, it came with a SeaLand diaphram pump. The "box" that collects from the fish pumps I believe is an automatic switch. Mine failed so at some point I removed it and snipped and sealed the hot lead to that gizmo. I think there was also a manufacturer's recall on this auto switch soon after I bought my 251 new in '98. Regardless, this "box" didn't work for too long.

There is no macerator in these. The motor pumps the diaphram up and down. There are 2 duck-bill valves that direct the flow. I replaced mine after the motor quit after about 10 years. I may still have the pump if that is all you need. I believe I purchased the entire assembly on E-bay. I think these units are much more reliable than the macerator types.
