first run on used 20ft sport

boat seemed to do very well had a great day only seen 2 ft chop carried 7 people and all gear and full of fuel to the beach for a test run have a 20ft sport with 150 merc suprised at the speed 37mph loaded that much wow great ride. only problems i had wasthe brand new stereo i installed has trouble loading cds luckly it has usb and ipod hook ups and the buzzer would go off when idleing for long periods if you reved up it would quit sounds the the dealer didnt put in a new waterpump like they told me they did. seems like its gonna be a great boat. hopefully i will have it back from the dealer and try some offshore fishing soon.

Did you take out the pin in the CD player before installing? I had the same issue when I installed mine. The unit had a red sticker on top with a warning to remove before installing, and of course I did not read it. Myself and the West marine guy messed with about 3 different head units before a female worker walked up read the sticker and took it out.

yeah i took it out it worked but then quit loading and ejecting cds already exchanged it out thanks for the idea though
