1991 Proline Sportsman 210

I need to access the bow eye of my 1991 PROLINE 210 Sportsman to repair.  The bow eye pulled out about 1/2 inch the last time I cranked it on trailer.  Since there is no available access I will need to cut an access through the bottom of the anchor/rope compartment.  Before I proceed, is there any structural members I need to be aware of?   Any suggestions?  Thanks
