I made 2 tuna tubes for my boat and was wondering if the washdown pump would have enough flow for the tubes.  i plan on mounting them on the out side of the baitwell if the washdown pump will do the job all i have to do is splice the line going to the baitwell.  if not and i need to install a new pump would it be okay to splice the water line near the seacock so i could use the same clamshell water pickup.  what do you suggest.

Kor,
We are currently using the Shurflo ProBlaster 4.0 as our washdown pump.  It should be more than adequate to feed 2 tuna tubes.  If you want to use the washdown and the aeration of the tubes at the same time, both will suffer somewhat.  Just a fact of life.  2 users, one feed.  You might consider installing a ball valve in the line that feeds the tuna tubes so that you can close it somewhat and reduce the flow while still maintaining the water supply, so that you have more pressure going to the washdown.
