Took my 2008 23 Express out for its first Salmon trip on the weekend and picked up a nice one. It is a Marbled Spring salmon, half white spring half Red. Didnt have a scale but think it ws about 22lbs

Nice catch, Morgan!  I got hooked on salmon when I lived near San Francisco.  I think your salmon is more than 22 lbs. (P.S. - buy a scale so you can brag!)

Opening day here in the Sac area was last Saturday buy reports hadn't been to promising.  I'll wait till I read better reports so in the mean time, I'll toy with my new to me 21' Proline W/A.
