I have the same problem on my 3250. Mine is on the windshield frame on the outside. I plan to do the same as REEL-Therapy unless someone has a better idea. Lots of taping and covering up surrounding areas, not a windy day, and on a bug free day too! I think REEL implied spray enamel.
Any other ideas or suggestions?
No magic answers here, but just one observation: The primer is the paint job. The top coat is simply to put the color on that you want. Be sure to get a good metal primer that is designed for the job (I assume aluminum...). And I might suggest you use the topcoat that is designed for engine blocks -- the high heat resistant type.
