My 22 proline walk around

« on: February 22, 2011, 07:31:19 PM »

I fish with live bait. I catch Bull Minnow, finger mullet, eel, spot, peanut bunker, and more. Live wells for some live bait have to be oval or round(not 90 degree corners). Bunker and finger mullet will commit fish suicide and run into the corners.I went and got some plexiglass and have made templates with cardboard and cut 2pieces to round the corners. Now I have an oval race track. I am not sure how I want to secure these pcs. I have to be able to remove the aft pc of plastic to let the water out(drain is in the aft corner). Any ideas guys? Have you experienced fbait death? They also say a light blue live well will calm them down too. Thanks for any help.

Have you had trouble with bait dieing or is this a preventive thing. See your from P-Town. I lived there for years then across the river in chesapeake and now living in Suffolk.

Yea the bunker die off and the finger mullet will too over time. I have PLENTY of water turn its the corners. I dont want to drill holes in my well. I may just leave the pcs in and see how they do on there own. I cant wait for Flounder season !!
