I've looked at the member list, which seems to grow daily, but I have also noticed that there is basically participation by a few.  SO TELL EVERYONE ABOUT YOUR PRO-LINE!!  Others want to hear about your boat, it's plusses, it's minuses ( Embarrassed), how your's compares to another, where you fish, what you catch, what you like to eat, what you drink, where you boat, etc., etc., etc.

Look at Continuous Wave, Great Grady, Reel Boating, and THT.  Real interaction amongst their members.

So what do you say?  BTW, we need more emoticons.  Like this one

ok lets get this started Wink.  i have a 23xp and fish all around oahu, hawaii.  we catch ono, mahimahi, marlin, aku (skip jack tuna), and my most favorite... ahi!.  as for the boat, i love it.  i went from a 19 sport to the 23xp so the biggest pluses are more space to fish and i dont get wet at all even when mother o gets mad.  another thing i like about this boat is that its probably the only one on this island.  i know there are a couple xp on the outer islands but the dealer said none on oahu.  its like driving a ferrari into a car show.  people just stop and look Tongue.  the minuses are few and can be fixed easily.  the first problem is that the two rod holders farthest back are to far back.  you need to climb out or reach really far to get the rod.  in bad seas or when a big fish is on or just setting lines it creates a problem.  the second problem are the fish boxes.  for most of the fish we catch they are okay but we love to catch ahi and even a small one wont fit in it.  and i wish it was insulated better.   other than that cant complain.  korey

I own a 2007 20 sport with a 150hp suzuki. I have had the boat for two years now and it looks and performs as good as it did the day i bought it. I do my boating and fishing for bass and blues in Buzzards Bay on Cape Cod Ma. I enjoy making upgrades and changes to my boat and love to talk boats specially proline's with other people that one of the main reasons for starting this site.

Damn, those little emoticon additions have come in handy, haven't they? Wink

Actually, I'm just kinda giving everyone a little well deserved you-know-what about posting on this site.  Proline is one of the truly noted boat builders in the world, believe it or not.  Not only do we sel to the USA, Canada, and Mexico and the Central/South American countries, we also sell to dealers in France, Spain, Monoco, and Italy.  There are many throughout the world that rave about their Prolines, it's about time you raved about yours.  Almost forgot, quite of bit of business in Hong Kong.  Imagine a Proline you meet in the China Sea...

So have at it, don't be bashful.  Bob Andrews knows I'm not... Cheers

I have a 2 week old 2009 proline 22 flats with a 150 suzuki (wanted an e-tech but thats another story). I took her out today for the forth time and love her more each time I fish. I fish South Florida from Ft. Lauderdal to Flamingo to Marco Island, and the Keys, but mostly Biscayne Bay for Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Bonefish, and offshore in my brother in laws 23 center for Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and Kings.  Cold beer and tight lines!

Lazyboy,
Etecs or Suzis, excellent motors both.  And the field engineers who support them, both excellent guys, as well as friends of mine.  The Suzuki guy lives just down 19 from me and my Etec guy lives in Ridge Manor.

Sounds like you fish for the same species as we do here on the west coast.  Snook, especially.  The thrill of Bonefish?  Hey, I wan't to put what I catch on the table.  Kind of like Tarpon.

Glad you bought the 22 Flats.  She's pops out of the hole in a heartbeat, doesn't she? Grin

Korey,
Agree with you on the aft rod holder locations.  Starboard isn't so bad, as you have the transom door walkthrough to gain access.  But port? Hey, I didn't choose the location! Wink

So just what is an Ahi, and how big are your average catches?

Bob

hey bob,
ahi- yellow fin tuna in hawaiian.  the average fish we catch is in the 120-150lb range.  the new nancy kay is getting ready for the up coming ahi season (may-september).  the old nancy k's (19ft proline sport) biggest was a 200lb ahi.  imagine a fatty stuck in between the helm bench seat and the live baitwell.  last year we had a double ahi at 5:45am, both fish in the boat by 6:15 and celebrating with a case of heinikens at the harbor by 7:00  Cheers.   to everyone else, lets hear some fish stories.  lets face it we all were born to fish but forced to work.  korey

Hi All,
As this, I am sure, will be a popular topic I have created a board for it.  Keep them coming, I am jealous... and not quite sure why I still live in the NorthEast...  My in-laws are putting their Proline in the water this week, and I look forward to fishing again this year.  Don't catch quite the size fish I have heard in these threads or seen in the gallery but have quite a bit of fun teaching my son to fish.
